Will it be good?

Ive seen some gameplay videos, personally im the biggest pussy in the world and would never buy either of the Outlasts, but it looks pretty incredible. There is some gameplay trailer, or preview, where you walk through a town, it looks amazing, the amount of people and the atmosphere
With a higher budget and better direction? Yes. Some parts were amazing, like when her friend got posessed.

Why do people say outlast is scary, not trying to be edgy but how is it scary at all compared to condemned or silent hill
I really like the idea behind cults, how you can plant a thought into someone's brain and aslong as you keep them isolated from reality that thought will actually become their reality.
I loved the first outlast aswell so yeah this game'l be right up my alley.

I handled condemned pretty easily, the crims were humorous in their execution, and the mannequins were too cool to be really scary.
But I have a real zero tolerance to horror games, i cant handle it. The best ive done is I got halfway through Amnesia drunk out of my mind, and then the alcohol wore off so I started reacting normally so i quit.
Is there a reason why the devs decided to stick with unreal 3?

kek I got downvotes 15 times on steam for saying amnesia is boring and only scary at the original water level
>see monster
>run away and wait for it to go away tripping over resourves on the way
repeat 500x how is this frightening?
No
it's a walking simulator, and the horror story is stupid

I would hazard a guess it matters how scared you let yourself be, as well as how immersed you let yourself be. Ive gotten quite scared in normal games at times just because of ominous music and interesting plotThe Swapper

It is literally a walking simulator. Perfect for the Streaming/Let'sPlaye cancer market that keeps getting catered to. So probably a little better than the first.

How's your first week on 4chan?

pretty good friendo. how's your 2nd week going? make any new friends or upvote any comments?

If they reduce the tiresome chases from the first one and focus more on exploration then yes

>Inverted cross
Telltale sign of someone who doesn't know their symbolism. It probably won't be very good if the title render itself is atmosphere-breaking.

Some people get really, really bad anxiety and flip their shit from things like Jumpscares.
I kind of envy people like that, I'm so desensitized and jaded I haven't been able to truly enjoy a horror game in ages, which sucks since its my favorite genre.

>people appearing in the background and disappearing again

>Won't be as good as Amnesia or Soma

I get petrified at Alien Isolation. I attribute it to seeing Alien at 7.
