Just found out Xenoblade Chronicles was released on the Wii U eShop! I know i'm late.
What's your opinions?
I don't usually play JRPGs but I'm getting very burnt out on western games lately.

Yeah Im trying to play jrpg kinda games now since i missed out on basically all of them so far.

Demon's souls is not a JRPG.
Pick Xenoblade if you want to experience a classic JRPG.

That said, the story and characters are great, and the battle system is fine as long as you haven't been subject to the superior one in X. Music is also fantastic. Sidequests are shit, but that's true for most RPGs.
Play it immediately. It's been in my top 5 games for some time now.
Great game with fantastic characters, settings, music, and fun combat. Definitely worth 20 bucks, it's like 55 ours if you speed the campaign, 80 if you dick around.

Despite all the shit /v/ spouts about hating video games, this place isn't terrible for recommendations. I haven't been let down yet.
Also yes, the PS3 version is fine, just avoid the PC port like the plague.

PS3 port is 30FPS but has extra content. I'd say it's still worth playing
