The closest I've seen to a game that never gets any shit talk on /v/ is the first two Rollercoaster Tycoons, RCT3 and the mobile one are recognized as garbage

I like your criteria here OP more then your subject line, when someone says "universally liked" it tends to provoke more controversy, but there are definitely games that every adult on /v/ acknowledges were solid, at least within their own genre (even if a given /v/irgin doesn't actually like that genre of games much). Obviously you'll still get child fedora contrarians and ebin shitposters no matter what, but these games make it obvious.
Ghost Trick is a good nomination. I'll add:

as a few that come to mind when I think about it. I'm sure there are more. It's not impossibly rare, but yeah not a lot of games make the mark.

I thought it was incredibly boring.
Still up there as one of the best in the series, and best of its type in general. Though I know a few people who are divided on some of the updates it had after the original (I personally think the DC and such were decent polishings), but everyone can acknowledge that vanilla was solid anyway.
