I am most surprised that the BR doesn't have an actual army and special rules in the tabletop game.

I'm cautiously hyped for it. I enjoyed DoW and DoW2.
I hope there's not a shit ton of DLC, but I'm sure there will be.
Raven Guard is my favorite chapter so as long as I can play them day 1 I'll purchase it.
