Happiness on one of my jungle worlds is getting wonky. I'm playing xenophile materialists, continental affinity. Subgroup of pops gene-modified themselves to jungle affinity and the two new groups started bombing each other right away.
Now everyone on the planet is xenophobic. Conflict has died down but happiness is hovering around 45-50 for a good portion of the pops.
Research is dicking me too, haven't gotten anything to improve happiness recently. I wouldn't be able to research it any time soon anyways. My pop is to the point where research gets +100% penalty to point needed to complete techs.
On the plus side my federation's most recent war grabbed up planets that were separating all the members from each other (playing hyperspace only, lanes can be a bitch but I like the 'terrain' it creates).

The game doesn't really have the depth to engross a player by other means. The diplomacy is barebones as fuck, planet management is limited by sector stuff, tech is randomised so you don't feel like you are working towards something cool until it randomly appears on your research screen. The default settings for number of the empires in the game also ensure that you are gonna have at least 5 close neighbours and least one of them will fucking hate you because you have different political opinions and shit. (If you turn the number of empires down the game will become even more boring though)
Eventually you run out of things to do, stations to build and planets to explore, you get a notification about your resources getting maxed out and think: hey, since I have absolutely nothing to do I might as well build a nice fleet and go fuck up that xenophobe asshole to the west.

Sure, they're easily replaceable, fast in star systems (faster than destroyers), are pretty evasive so the large weapons of the destroyers/cruisers/battleships miss fairly often, and if you have weapons that bypass shields/armor, then they can fuck shit up. Just beware destroyers with autocannons or missles if you don't have point defense.

Apart from general lack of content these are my major grievances with the game. Adding these type of simple commands or construction / science ship automation would cut so much time spent on meaningless micro. Shit becomes infuriating especially if you're colonizing fast or conquering areas and receiving huge population boosts = increased borders everywhere.

Can you actually be at peace with those suckers if mine wasn't bugged?
Have another bug where my Androids are stuck in a planet where I send them for invading.
For some reason the planet went back to non-colonized status and I can't retrieve my Androids because I can't access the planet menu for it, neither does a menu appear in the overworld by clicking on them in the bar.
Now I have a perma notification that I'm currently invading a planet.

The debris one does irk me a bit. Also, I can't seem to get them to survey the debris from the menu the important action menu or whatever it's called even though it has a research button on it.

besides, regardless of how fast you are expanding you still have time to do that even on fast throughout most of the entire game
Im split on that part, sure it would be nice, and having science ship auto exploring would be nice aswell, but making it too easy is just killing it i think

Is there any way to bookmark or save locations? I've found a couple planets with neolithic proton-civilizations that I have plans for but I probably won't remember their names or locations.
