For me I'd say 1999, 2001, 2004, 2007 were my favorites. 2009 onward is kind of a blur for me.
I remember 2005-2006 being doldrums years on the PC, with exception for Medieval 2 at the end of 2006. I think 2005 was just a shit year but I may be mistaken.
