I like Vanquish, and I know some don't class it as a shooter but Metroid Prime is great.

Not really. I played Vanquish at the end of last year and it's next to Battlefront 2 in my top 15.
Wait, there isn't a poster of /v/ approved shooters? We have Doom and build games threads every months and genereally /v/ has good taste in FPS. It's time to make one.
