It used to be GunZ: The Duel.
I couldn't stop being a shut-in while everyone was out doing stuff, and I was at home increasing my SS/BF skills.
Smash Bros (all of them), Modern Warfare 2, Halo 3, Civilization (II, IV, and V only ones I played)
Honestly wouldn't be surprised if I had a total time equivalent to one year with all these games alone. I know in one of them I have ~60 days of playtime.
Vanilla WoW or EQ. I remember being addicted to WoW and not being able to think about anything else in middle school for a while. Good stuff.

Probably The Binding of Isaac. Put a ton of hours in when it first came out.
Also was really addicted to Super Crate Box for a night or two.
>>337696491
UFC Undisputed 3
>>337696491
Splatoon and Tetris
from most to least addicting
world of warcraft
some boggle game i played on my sisters phone
osu!
counter-strike kreedz
diablo 2 and path of exile
dwarf fortress
dungeon crawl stone soup
Puzzles and Dragons.
I got hooked on the monster gatcha way too hard and spent too much money on what was ultimately an unfulfilling game.
Luckily I got off that wild ride.
Skyrim and candy crush
Runescape back in middle school, literally did nothing but play it. Didn't even have a membership for the longest time because mommy wouldn't let me use her credit card. Finally started mailing Jagex there fucking 10$ every month.

Terraria.
stalker and mount & blade
>>337696491
tf2 pulled me in really hard, and i was basically non-stop playing it for 3 months.
When hearthstone got released, the same thing happened. My mind was set to hearthstone.
Also, there are a couple of incremental games that are addicting as hell. Clicker heroes for example.

Just an artists rendition of the creepypasta "The Rake"
Gotta go with Battleborn. I can't put it down! Gearbox does it again!

Man I loved that game, I only played in Pride mode for the soccer kicks with Mirko or Shogun
I never play the popular games when they come out, I barely started playing Darksouls and I'm addicted to it.
I fucking hate everything about this game but I've been playing it for almost five years
I can't stop playing Stardew Valley and Factorio. I never played Harvest Moon before so its new to me
Dota 2
I walked in the spiral of trying to get good, I then proceeded to become a faggot tryhard
Dropped it just before the latest patch

First day on /v/?

suure. I remember often playing some castle defence game, some game where you tried to survive against a helicopter or something. And curveball.
Probably World of Warcraft considering I played it from 2005 to to 2011, only stopping when I started college. Too bad the damage had already been done, and my desire to play the game killed my chances of getting into a top ten school like my siblings.
Wish my parents had just taken the game away from me forever
>>337696491
Crusader kings 2.
>>337696491
Slither.io is definitely my #1 crack-like videogame
Puzzle & Dragons was really damn addictive, though using up all my stamina in the morning commute actually felt like a chore towards the end.
Luckily I non-IAP rolled a Ryune/Blodin/Hermes/Sumire/Hatsume team by the 8th month mark. Once you have an endgame team a lot of what drives the player is lost.
>>337702271
a degree is a degree man
having a degree period puts you ahead of a lot of people in your position who dont
Honestly, Overwatch and Mount and Blade Warband.
Jeez I can't believe I'm saying this but as of recently...Battlefield 4, ever since EA/Dice made dragon's teeth free I just started playing again and can't stop for whatever reason...I'd only put maybe 12-15 hours before this.
Otherwise
>Bloodborne
>Molten WoW back in the day
>Any Halo except 4 (or 5 just because I haven't played it)
Skullgirls
>>337702569
I can play Slither.io all day.
I turned it on today, and guess what I fucking say.
Video ads after death.
Fuck that game now.
Ragnarok Online
World of Warcraft
Dota 2 (but I realized the game is harmful to my mental health so I just stopped getting serious into it the solo queue is cancer)
Ninja Gaiden on NES and Morrowind.
Vanilla Wow.
Really all the pre-Activision games are fucking godlike. Now they don't have the polish love or replayability that they once had.
Starcraft 2's map making community is dead thanks to the retarded lobby system on Battlenet 2.0
Ill bet Overwatch has some dumbass shit like no dedicated servers or map making tools right?
Acti-Blizzard is fucking clueless when it comes to keeping the community together and strong. Why is valve so good at this?
