Of course after conviction the stealth is getting worse and worse, I will not be surprised if blacklist 2 is a pure fps game.
Metal gear solid has stealth, but is much more forgiving, you dont have lambert calling you a fuckup faggot if you get caught.

From what I've heard the HD re-release is ass and you are better off playing the old xbox or PS2 versions of PT and the PC version of the SC and CT. Xbox and PS2 is preferable for DA too as it's a different game to that released for next gen and PC and though it has worse graphics it has better everything else.
