Is there any?
>>

No
>>
Ha, no.
>>
You`ll probably like Recettear. Also, Neptunia series is also available on PC.
>>
>>337668240
Neptunia isn't really anything like Atelier. Recettear kinda works, maybe?
>>
>>337668240
Neptunia is shit though

> this semen demon will never come to PC
>>
>>337668964
Personally I'm glad Atelier will never be tainted by PC fags
>>
>>337669396
Why?

I know Koei is porting some games, it is possible that Atelier will be released on PC.

Even the Dragon Crown Team is studing on how to port games to PC.
>>
>>337669670
If you cared about the series you'd own a platform they're on. Trying to broaden the fanbase never works out. And giving games to the cheapskates of the vidya industry just pisses off the original fans.
>>
>>337666051
What do you mean by games like Atelier? Like, do you mean the mechanics of the game like item creation and time management? Or do you mean the feel of the game that's very light and innocent?
>>
>>337669790
>If you cared about the series you'd own a platform they're on.
I can't care about a series that's not on a platform I own. Nice catch-22.
> And giving games to the cheapskates of the vidya industry just pisses off the original fans.
I'm amazed that there are actually people who get mad because other people get something to enjoy, that they also enjoyed.
>>
>>337669790
I own a PS3 with Meruru and Rorona, but I don't want to buy a PS4 just to play Bloodborne and Sophie. Besides that, I'd be happy to play these games on 4k.

Your argument about broaden fanbase doesn't even make sense.
>>
>>337668240
Neptunia is literal trash
>>
>>337669964
People get the game for 7$ while I pay $60.
Fuck off you don't deserve it.
>>
>>337669790
so you want the company to only cater to a specific group, instead of getting more customers, which will give them more money, so they can make future games better?

If they released a new Megaman game on, say, the N64 this year, nobody would buy that shit, even if fans of the game love him.
>>
>>337670065
Time spent trying to win over new fans is time they could be spent making content for fans they already have.

See: Rorona 3ds
>>
>>337670057
>People get the game for 7$ while I pay $60.
So, you're getting screwed over, and instead of being mad at the people screwing you, you're mad at the people not getting screwed?

You are the problem.
>>
>>337670119
Wasn't that made with assets from mobile games?
>>
>>337669848
Anime-like, cute, slice of life with some RPG elements, nice art and a craft system. It is not necessary to have last gen graphics. I've searched on Steam and there is nothing there.

I'm on page 30 out 50 on "anime" tag... I guess it is hopeless, let's hope that Koei Tecmo port it to PC, since this company is already porting some games.

I do think that this game would sell well, just look how Square-Enix is porting all Final Fantasy games to PC.

Recettear is the only one like this, but it is too hardcore and I don't really its artstyle.
>>
>>337670119
Rorona 3DS seemed more like beating a dead horse than anything else. They had the original Rorona, Rorona Plus an then ANOTHER Rorona remake. Besides, Atelier Annie on the DS was decent enough and it was the first Atelier game for lots of people.
>>
>>337670119
at the same time, making new content for people who've already bought something, while is quite nice for the customer, doesn't bring in anything but reputation points for them. And you can't pay people to put in time to make new stuff if with reputation points.
>>
>>337670139
I'm not the one who has caused software value to deteriorate to mobile free to play levels like PC users have
>>
>>337670119
>Rorona 3ds
So it proves they want to broaden their public. Since Koei Tecmo is porting games to PC... maybe it is a matter of time?

I really, really hope so.
>>
>>337670304
>he thinks the new content is free
You have to rebuy the game on Vita for the plus version
>>
>>337670454
are we talking full expansion content or the notorious "dlc costume" content? because i can see buying the plus version if it actually adds substantial content to the original
>>
>>337670395
How jealous, exactly, are you that we get the same value for a lower price?
>>
>>337670539
For Rorona plus it was a whole remake.
Others are costume, bosses, endings and some balance fixes.
Sure as hell the time they put on it isn't gonna be free.
>>
>>337670639
That guy doesn't make any sense.
>>
>>337670260
I'm shocked I can't think of any games that fit all of the criteria. Like, the closest I can think of is.... Mabinogi?
>>
>>337670639
Not jealous.
Just find it funny that you demand companies to bend to your will and then proceed to pirate a game or buy it when it's 75% off.

Also, take pictures of your dicks and e-mail them to Tecmo Koei so that they would consider bringing Ateliers to your Petition Compiler machines.
>>
I've found a survey.

Let's fill it asking for a PC release?
I'm answering that right now.

Atelier is a really unique game, everyone should play it.

>>
>>337670747
>Just find it funny that you demand companies to bend to your will
I don't, though.
If they won't release on PC, that's okay. Seeing how I didn't have the opportunity to form an emotional attachment to the series, I'm not going to miss it.
> and then proceed to pirate a game or buy it when it's 75% off.
In other words, we buy at what we consider the appropriate market value. That's how the market is supposed to work.

You're getting screwed, but not by us.
>>
>>337669790
>And giving games to the cheapskates of the vidya industry just pisses off the original fans.
That already happened when the games got localized. You're no "original fan", buddy.
>>
>>337670852
Of course you don't have an attachment to the series. You limit yourself to PC and live off scraps.

>>337670906

>>

It is sad. Rune Factory would be a good choice... if it was on PC. At least I can play it on Dolphin on 4K.
>>

I'll try Mabinogi, thanks. :)
>>
>>337670927
>You limit yourself to PC and live off scraps.
If that's the case I'm buried to my neck in "scraps".

Just admit you're jealous that we get much cheaper games.
>>
>>337670950
Oh god yes, Rune Factory. Truly a series that gets better with each iteration. Well, mechanically at least. RF3 will always be my favourite. Didn't think too much of Oceans though and I never played Frontier.

I suppose you could emulate Atelier Annie or some of the older Atelier games on PC? And Mana Khemia too.

>>
>>337671091
Well you could try to emulate the PS3 titles.
I doubt is gonna end well though
>>
>>337671048
I still don't see the problem of buying the digital version of the game. That actually would be great for Gust, since they would have much more income and would be able to invest more on future releases, raising the game quality overall.

All the major japanese game companies are porting to PC, Koei Tecmo is porting to PC, I really hope it is a matter of time.

Emulate the PS2 games, specifically the Iris series. And Man's Khemia 1 and 2
>>
>>337672024
Not too sure about Iris but MK is alright.
>>
>people complain that weebshit doesn't come to PC when consoles are literally 100% of the market in Japan

This doesn't make any fucking sense, this is like if a console player complained that they barely ever get any MMOs. You're not their target market.
>>

How's the ones on handhelds?
>>
>>337671862
I guess Atelier games are about the experience. It's all very heart warming. They're mostly about a young girl trying to do her best, working hard every day to get closer to her goal. Along the way you meet other characters who are earnestly trying to do the same thing.

Personally I find the Atelier games pretty soothing. Sure, the time limits and such can make things pretty hectic but there's also a calm feeling of content from just making a plan and tackling every step one at a time. Achieving little goals while working towards something bigger.

The games make you feel pretty good, man.
>>
>>337672410
MK ones on PSP people says they're bad, never played it so I don't know.
The ones on Vita are the plus version, better on everything apart from the framerate.
>>
>>337671862
Complete whatever the main objective is.
Get money so you can afford to buy all the things you want.
Explore so you can get access to more things to make items from.
Make better items so you can handle the harder enemies in the new areas you're exploring.
Do missions for party members so you can get their endings.
Do optional objectives like making fish alcohol or killing lizard men armies so you can get those endings.
Do side events like fighting in a colosseum or having a swimsuit contest because hey why not.

Bear in mind that there's a overall time limit like in Persona so you have to be efficient or you lose. At least in the older games, the recent ones dropped it since casuals found it too scary. Also bear in mind that the item creation system is fuckin' complex so you can spend like fifteen minutes just planning out how to make one item if you want it to be really good.
>>
>>337671862
It's a JRPG, so you kill god.
>>
>>337671091
The Oceans is not very good, but Frontier is excelent, but there is a game breaking feature related to the runes, I had to cheat to continue enjoying the game...

>>337671147
Really? I'll look into it.
>>
>>337672410
Atelier Annie on the DS is alright. It's pretty much "my first Atelier" since it's an easier, simplified version of standard Atelier gameplay but it's a great game for first timers to get a handle of what you're supposed to do.

The Plus games on the Vita are all great. They're all ports of the mainline games on the PS3 with added stuff like more scenarios and dungeons and come with all/most of the DLC the original game had. I'd recommend them a lot too. Not a lot of technical issues except more longer loading times perhaps. But it's not THAT long or anything.

Really, you can't go wrong with the Plus games I think. Like, I'd never go "Don't play the Vita one, go for the original on the PS3" instead or anything.
>>
>>337672024
Iris 2 has got a shit ton of alchemy and customization for your characters (it's personally the game that got me into the Ateller series, bought it on a whim when I was 14 along with Disgaea because of the cover art, never looked back). Iris 1 has the best characters in the series imo and a grest story. Iris 3 is sort of the black sheep of the Iris series, due to its job board based playstyle and smaller party, but it plays the closest to the PS3 games.

But Mana Khemia, that's some god tier stuff, using Roxas to mess with the turn count was a blast. I beat the last boss with Anna alone when my whole party was wiped, cheese it with her teleportation move and couldn't believe it worked. Now I've gotta dig my PS2 out and play these again, thanks OP.

Iris 2 is definitely my favorite too, MK is different imo. Everything about Iris 2 blew me away, I couldn't believe there was so much customization in a JRPG. The alchemy and weapon crafting was just so perfect. I did miss being able to craft on the fly using mana points in the later titles too much though.

And Noin and Mitsue gave me the biggest boners as a teenager, even more than Tifa
>>
>>337676457
Honestly it was that tweest that winning me. Not many waifus actually went to save her husbando, usually it was the husbando who did that. Viese definitely best atelier.

You better do. Ayesha has great atmosphere, the adventure actually feels like adventure unlike Totori, and really great cast. Also tsundere oldman.

Truth be told, it feels pretty overrated.
>request

The goddamn pacing makes me yawn at every turn. The PS2 ones, despite having stuff like it, wasn't this bad. I guess my expectations were set way up high from what I've been hearing of it from here.
I might give it a chance and pick it up again, maybe after clearing some backlog.
