Started playing TF2 yesterday, is Scout the easymode class of this game? It seems to be overpowered due to how fast I move.
Sniper is broken as fuck, I racked up 45 kills and 20~ deaths with it yesterday, there's fucking no recoil or anything.
Is this really what PCucks consider "competitive"? I tried picking up CoD and got slaughtered for 5 straight days before I got good enough to get a 1:00 KD ratio in games, this game took me around 5 matches before I regularly get a 2:00 KD

New people who suck at the game and are trying to get better and people like you who aren't good enough to play against actually competent players so instead go on valve servers because even if they're barely mediocre they'll still stomp on most of the other players there.

Because of the cool factor and you don't have to directly fight people with either class. They're afraid to fight good players because they'll get their shit pushed in but they also don't want to be a support player because medics and engineers don't get attention or praise. So that leaves sniper who lets even the shittiest of players one shot people easily from complete safety and spy so they can pretend they're James Bond or some shit and be le witty ruseman.

I think part of it is that Engineers and Pyros have goggles instead of eyes. Their lack of proper eyes makes their apparent inability to think seem inhuman.

A pub is a public server. Valve servers are the 'official' pubs, and that's where all the new and terrible players end up due to it being the default matchmaking setting. If you can aim at all you will be better than 99% of the people you meet on Valve servers,
Non-Valve pubs can be found in the server browser but most populated ones are junk maps filled with dogshit players. There used to be a lot of community servers with decent players but they're mostly dead now.
You can try competitive but virtually all competitive TF2 players are bellends.
