How does a game like Monster Hunter Online look so good yet run so well? Why the fuck is no one else able to optimise their games but a Cryengine 3 MMO runs like butter?

It can look however good it wants. Monster Hunter will still always be an autism simulator on tier with Sonic.
Its just a shame you need so much hardware to get it to look that look. It looks amazing and has a distinct visual style but not for $25000 bucks man.

contrary to popular belief the cryengine IS well optmized and good especially compared to the level of detail it offers on dosghit hardware
crysis 3 on ps3 looks better than some games on xbox one, say titanfall for instance
I don't know why Capcom acts like a Monster Hunter game on an actual system is unfeasible due to costs when a bunch of Chinese dudes could come up with this for peanuts.
I really wish this game would get a western release, it was a lot of fun to play but the ping and constantly having to work off of bad google image translation stuff was too much of a pain and I had to just stop playing.
