So with all the RE games getting remastered, what are the chances we could see this and it's sequel getting redone?

Hopefully zero. Its the same mindset as all of the people praying for a new Crash or remake.
They're unnecessary and always a cashgrab. People now should be demanding new, interesting IPs and stop relying on publishers taking advantage of your nostalgia.

Dinosaurs are coming back but I don't think they'll ever be able to touch zombies. DC is also this weird obscure cousin to RE. RE will sell on it's name alone, DC won't. As much as I want a Dino Crisis revival I have given up holding my breath for it because Capcom doesn't really see the market for the game right now.

Dino Crisis should have gotten the Resi 4/5 treatment, that style of play is far more fitting.

They aren't rare...they just need a couple steps to get.
Bros, just emulate the dreamcast version of DC1 via NullDC. It looks sharp as fuck, ten times better than the PC or ps1 versions. Also the audio is crystal clear.
I will also argue that DC2 is more fun.
