Why would you even waste time with Doom when you already have EDF 4.1? Seriously. Even EDF has better level design than Doom because it doesn't lock you in small makeshift arenas.

This is true of nearly all FPSes, but there are now plenty (if not a majority) of FPS players on consoles.
How did that happen, how did a game format that essentially requires the specific use of a mouse end up in the hands of such a blunt instrument? It boggles the mind. It's not even light fightan games where serious and even semi-serious players will stump for the proper tools to play, people just are content with a controller that simply cannot compete in basic functionality for this specific genre.

PS4 supports M&K. Not sure if the devs allowed it for Doom on console, but the system supports it.

Interesting has nothing to do with. I just don't like fucking locked down arenas, and such lazy design was only used very rarely in games like Doom and Quake, not every 10 minutes like in shitty shooters like Serious Sam and Painkiller.

You should google, email the Doom devs or something first. Not all devs allow it (some don't for balance reasons in MP shooters).

I liked how a large number of PS3 games had reversible covers, even though a lot of them are just artwork, it's usually pretty great.
