Besides that, I never brought anyone to my house. Everyone in my family was a two-faced asshole, they'd smile and greet you then make a list of everything that secretly annoyed them, this happened with anyone my brothers brought over so naturally I avoided it. My friends houses were all nicer anyway and parents always fed me.
Of course I moved out years ago so I don't care anymore what my parents think.

I've done it a few times.
It was okay.
But the main reason to own a PC (graphics aside) is for the games which really benefit from the ability to use a keyboard and mouse. So I can't imagine owning a PC which doesn't spend most of its time at a desk.
