40% is pretty low, don't Uncharted games usually pull through on their visuals alone? Any rating under 5/10 for a high budget game is just as questionable as giving it an automatic 10/10.

How have PCfags not killed themselves yet? First it's Bloodborne which is a Masterpiece not seen since Ocarina of Time. And now it's Uncharted 4, a solid 9.5/10, Best game to come out since Bloodborne, and pushes the boundary of technology advancement in graphics and gameplay far beyond anything ever before it. It's just amazing how quickly PC gaming has died and been taken over by the PS4.

I borrowed the remastered collection for PS4 from a friend and beat the first two. They were fun enough, pretty shallow but I enjoyed myself. Don't really have much desire to play 3 or 4 but I might when I want a quick and easy movie game.

Reviews aren't really paid for. Game 'journalists' receive electronic press kits. EPKs tell them what the game is about and gives them a sampling of the type of shit to say about it. Some 'journalists' are so fucking lazy that they will blatantly copy and paste right from it. If the 'journalist' shits all over the game they probably won't receive free copies of the game or EPKs from the companies anymore. So there is certainly an incentive to stay positive. You people don't think for a minute that these sites actually play these games do you? Have you ever seen how terrible these people are at even the easiest games? As someone who mainly plays on PC, this game has one of the best art directions I've seen in a long time and for a linear game the level design is really on-point with excellent vertically and interesting platforming.
I'll gladly take this open ended linear approach to level design with over open world games any day of the week. It's just refreshing.

Platforming in Uncharted 4 has consequences, its more dynamic than AC's platforming, while it's nothing cutting edge, it adds a lot of depth to exploration and level design, combined with the rope mechanic and branching paths, it feels great navigating the world.

I love the Uncharted series. My tastes are pretty fucking varied. I fucking hated Uncharted 3. It didn't make any sense at all. It felt like really poor Uncharted fan fiction. Nathan Drake is now suddenly a dark brooding piece of shit that will push his friends to death. Every single character was acting out of character for the duration. Druckmann, Sherr, and Straley were integral to what these character are. I would argue that Sherr might be the most important as he was in charge of the humor. With all that said, I don't believe the game would be a zero out of ten. To get a zero a game would have to be unplayable and broken.

I really have no idea why people get this feeling from the current game, it's not dark or even remotely close to being dark. Shit was all over the place. A Thief's End has tons of big shit happening, but it was made with the characters and the story FIRST. It made a big difference.
