Terminator is actually bad ass and not a dork. Plus there is no whiny Edward Faglong.
T1 is darker and grittier, T2 is more blockbustery. They are both excellent, and I can't really choose, maybe T1 a bit.
The rest is shit of course. All they had to do was to make post-apocalyptic movie set during the nuclear winter with robots crushing skulls. But no, we have three useless cash grabs.
