Umihara Kawase isn't Wild Guns. Umihara Kawase is more of a weeb franchise (despite how great it is).
Metal Slug would probably be a more appropriate comparison since it and Wild Arms are both shooting games. Metal Slug is a RnG while Wild Guns is more like a light gun shooter.
