Hell, I even played it on my friend's PS4, and it felt exactly like JC2, which got old after 2 hours.
Denuvo is basically a form of aposematism, you find out a game uses Denuvo and you just instinctively know that the game in question will not be worth the time or money. It's the 'dyed hair and tumblr glasses' of video games, it's a warning to stay far, far away.

Doom has a skeleton with a skyrim horned helmet and an arrow jammed in its knee in the game. Even if it was DRM free, and being given away for free people would hate it for that alone.
