At the hospital I work at they had us do a continuing-education thing about handling obese patients "sensitively." Apparently human beings have such a major bias against fat people that doctors and nurses need a reminder to treat them nicely.
I can't understand why they are being coddled. Tolerance is reasonable when a person can't choose who they are. When someone consistently eats unhealthy enough to the point where they need dialysis, then they made the choice to transform themselves into social degenerates.
Being fat shouldn't be viewed as a personality trait - it should be looked at as a disease. Cure the fucking disease or suffer the social consequences you lazy, smelly, piece of shit.

Are you doing anything to make your depression better?
I was diagnosed with substance induced depression. The medication I take helps me stay balanced. My friends don't know anything about depression and they don't really care. They don't understand it so I don't rely on them for emotional support.
If you don't want to get better, then you won't. The reason they supported you when you broke your leg was because they were sure it was going to heal. As for your depression - that's something that only you can fix.
