There is a little confusion with that, but the psx can either refer to the og playstaion, or a playstation 2 model that also functioned as a standard definition dvr.
That thing was so expensive and out of reach of its target market not many were sold, but it was the first ps system to use the xmb menu system though.
There was also this cool sony bravia lcd tv that had a built in ps2 and shit.
