I've never been less interested in a Fallout DLC since now.

Seriously, did anyone else get that much of a lifeless vibe from the base game that they literally don't care what DLC Bethesda crams in anymore?
>>
>>337402292
Oh, this game is getting DLC?
>>
>>337402292
I'm looking forward to Far Harbor only because I really enjoy the whole Point Lookout type feel I get from what I've seen.

But to be honest I've kinda put Fallout 4 on my backlog of things to pick back up at a later date, due to not feeling any immersion with the game. I love some of the things they have done but my god they really killed the whole "choices matter" element.
>>

i don't really care what dlcs they add, it'll never convince me to reinstall that waste of time and money, and it convinced me to never buy a game on release again

Also I'm probably the only one hype for FH because it has multiple endings, choices, and actual skill checks.

It's almost as if, get this, Bethesda is learning. I know, right?

Is there a way to get his clothes without mods or beating the dlc? I tried consol commands but they didnt work.

I already feel that will the DLC with how shit Automatron was and how absurd the Crashland Glitchshop was.

It still saddens me how shit Fallout 4 was after I sunk 200+ hours into the other games. Elder Scrolls 6 is going to be terrible.

Thank you for the insults. I'm certain it strengthened your argument. FNV DLC was weird for me. Like it was interesting and I wanted to find out more and continue the story, but most of the areas the3y brought me to felt very unsafe and welcoming, so much to the point that I didn't want to be their. The atmosphere was great either because it was so desolate/depressing or just unnerving as hell. I just did not want to hang around in any of them for too long, wanted to get back to the Mojave asap. Still enjoyed them though, it's weird to describe.

Fallout 3's felt cozier for some reason. Even the Pitt, for as how much I hated going through it the first time, it's one of my favorite locations to come back and visit. I hated everything about Point Lookout though, that place just sucks. It's huge, it's boring, and it's a damn swamp. Swamps and sewers are the worst/boring/uninspired locations in games. I really wish people would stop doing them.

exploits? The stealth boy was left in Sierra Madre by the developers, and from what I remember there were barely any stealth boys in Sierra Madre (I believe I only had that one stealth boy when I took the bars), so the possibility of using it to escape must have been considered at some point to make it so rare, like telling you to save it for a special occasion which later comes in the form of the final confrontation with the dlc's antagonist.

Why do people always bring up the fact that you can't continue the game after story end in New Vegas as a point against it? The only changes in 4 is that people will say like 1 line of dialogue differently, so why is this such a big point that always gets brought up by normies?

The time has come. We are done with Bethesda Game Studios. It's time to send the message we are done with the slandering and destruction of venerable game series such as Fallout and DOOM. If you are not a part of the cause you are the enemy, and by extension an enemy of Vidya itself.

=================
DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS -
OR ANY RELATED IN THEIR SERIES
=================
FALLOUT
DOOM
DISHONORED
ELDER SCROLLS
and ALL ASSOCIATED MERCHANDISE

Upcoming games to boycott:
DOOM
FAR HARBOR (FO4 DLC)
DISHONORED 2
ELDER SCROLLS LEGENDS

You can find the Bethesda devs on Twitter as well. Send them as much of our sentiment as possible. We will not be ignored.

They will give into our demands: They will give the series their due treatment as the fans demand. They will halt all further development of the Fallout franchise and return ownership to Obsidian or promise to contract them for future products. The fans demand it, or they will be financially hurting indefinitely until our demands are met. They will also reverse all design decisions on DOOM and revise all gameplay designs to be more like the original Doom that the REAL fans want.

They will return the dividends promised to Obsidian as well. It is demanded this injustice be paid for.

>I really need to get a dick ass courier run going one of these days and just kill everybody

I don't think you understand how obscenely fun that is.

To everyone, not just you, who has not played a New Vegas 'Genocide' (if you will) run, do it if you've already done a regular run. And don't do it where you go through the game normally up to the end and then kill everyone. No, you need to start from the very beginning maiming everyone in sight. Let the good doctor patch you up, then put one right through his eyes. Defend Goodsprings from the invaders, then turn around and burn it to the ground. Give the citizens AND convicts of Primm something to fear together. Make the NCR and Legion dread your very existence.

Also, I want to recommend a 'Pacifist' run. It's been awhile since I did it, but I believe NV is set up so that you don't have to kill a single soul (though you will need to stock up on stimpaks--and a sprint mod wouldn't hurt)

>>
>>337414108
DLC requires you to do a little killing (like the roboscorpian boss, or the marked men fight at the end of LR), but otherwise you can be pacifist.
Stealthboys would be pretty handy for the final fight, though
>>
>>337414775
Yeah, wasn't even considering the DLCs. More of a can you get from Goodsprings to the end of the main quest without killin. And yeah, stealth boys are a godsend.

Off the top of my head I think you don't have to kill anyone for NCR or wildcard, and maybe even Legion. You could add House if you don't count blowing up the BoS bunker
Most quests have non-lethal options, especially if you let NPCs (not even companions) do the killing

Y'know, part of the reason she spent most of the DLC mute was because Bethesda gave Obsidian a 10,000-line limit on recorded dialogue for the DLC.
>>
I look at 4 now as I've always looked at 3.

It's not a bad game. I've put plenty of time into it, and easily gotten my money's worth. It's a big step up from 3/NV in terms of engine and gameplay systems, and I'm eager to see how they can build from these systems the next time around.

But, FNV exists, so it's clear to me that it could have been much better. The story, the factions, and the characters were on a whole different level than 3 and 4, and they set the bar for what could have been and what ought to be. The DLCs for FNV, to me, are everything a DLC could ever hope to be. Even Honest Hearts had strong points, good characters, and powerful moments. What does Wasteland Workshop have? What will Far Harbor have? Could Bethesda ever produce something as great as the other 3 FNV DLCs?

FO4 isn't a bad game, but it could have been so much more.
>>
>>337419089
please try harder, im not rustled at all.

as soon as they announced 3 dlc coming out month by month so soon after release i was worried. would you say i was wrong? automatron was shit and the wasteland shit sucked as well.

yeah, i hope this one is gonna be good but all they've said about it from the beginning(since the trailer) was how it was their biggest dlc to date. nothing else? fallout 4 has a big map but is spread out with little to no shit in it.

Big map doesnt always equal good content.
