you probably triggered the event that would spawn the mine and when you reloaded the event either didn't fire or did fire but decided that this time it wouldn't spawn a mine.

The loading screen is frustrating, when it's done loading, it'll use 5seconds to fade into the game but it doesn't pause the game meanwhile, you'll have 5seconds where you can't see shit and the game is running.

I might do a similar one with Dead Money. OWB and LR don't scale so unless I play on easy/normal, I won't be able to do it at level 1.

First playthroughs are normally Yesman. It was for me at least.
