Its pacing is beyond fucked.
Walk about this empty house looking at shit right as the main story is finally ramping up a bit.
The big arena fights could have been excellent, the level design really does allow for quick and free movement but because the AI is so fucked and un-predictably retarded it makes more sense to not move what so ever and to just stick around one specific area and wait for the bots to come to you.
The story is laughable and its so out of place and un-like all three of the previous games to be jarring and obvious.
Everyone has seen the webms of Nadine but its not until you play the segments yourself that you realise just how bad they are. You will get battered, they outright removed the counter in melee so shes going to kick the shit out of you no matter how good at the game you were before. Theres a letter later on outright saying "I know how hard this field can be because I am asian and you are a woman lol".
You know I would be fucking fine with the introduction of badass women enemies but fuck me at least attempt to be subtle about it. The only think I ever think is fuck me is this really being passed as good writing?

The game also retcons most of what we were told in Uncharted 3 about young Nate.
The banter is worse. Its full of walking and talking and picking up things and looking at them like in The Order. Its just padding, the climbing is boring and automated.
Rise of the Tomb Raider was better in almost everyway but no one will ever admit that because no one is allowed to like Nu Lara.

Not really, that's actually my account
I've only played 1 and a bit of 2 and didn't like the gameplay much. The character movement and the gunplay felt loose, and actually shooting people in the games felt unsatisfying.
Is 4 better in that regard? Because I enjoy the character interactions in the games, but I hate actually playing the game to the point where I think I'd prefer to just watch someone else play it.

And if they weren't going for chronological order, they should have started with Drake living a mundane life because the en media res shit they pulled in this game is so fucking stale and unnecessary.

The good:

Graphics and performance are something beyond I ever thought PS4 would be capable of handling, setpieces are top notch and gameplay is tight and fun (although I'd prefer more shooting sections).
Story is typical Uncharted story so if you're in light adventure movies, you'll like it
Voice acting is superb though.
