It's an strategy game, being able to tell what unit, building or anything is at first glance is something good, and the colorful artstyle helps to that. It's something I udnerstand devs went for.

Well the game's an exclusive and by an old-running PS dev. They know the console and how to exploit and polish the game to it's max potntial. Multiplats don't have that many time (or effort) to optimize the games on every console.
That's why uncharted games (usually) look good for a console game or why Nintendo games don't have many bugs and run like butter.
Also I don't like Uncharted's gameplay but come againb that's subjective so I'm not gonna count it as a bad point.
