Everyone built up Champion Gundyr but he wasn't as hard as I expected. Though I was using a bleed build so that might be it.

Its quite possible that no one will ever run into a hacker anyway, on both console and pc considering the amount of stars that would need to align for it to happen.
The hacker would need to be within the same soul level range AND actually be a hacker(which may only be less than 1% of the community).
