No it's the fucking Ancients/Nexus that bites back.Also Gigantic is probably my most excited to release game of the year. After playing the Beta for OW, BB, and this I really think I'll end up just playing Gigantic. BB surprised me with it being decent, OW felt underwhelming, and Gigantic won my heart in it's depth of play and replayability.

Microsoft got pissed they took 4 years to make the game and said they wouldn't be funding them anymore, but weren't going to force them to pull the plug or anything.
Game has 6 more maps and a dozen more heroes in the pipeline. Heavy beta testing is underway atm and only like 100 people were selected, so no playing it till they announce more.

This could be bad for sure, but honestly after playing the competition I'm really itching to get back on Gigantic. Truthfully not sure how they could jew up the system, it's pretty much exactly like Heroes of the Storm, but I expect hero credit rate to go down significantly with XP/Money boosters.

The problem with these kind of situations is by the time the game actual gets released its jumped through so much red tape and development hell that shit hardly seems like the game it actually wanted to be.
Perfect World doesn't help either, but since its no longer windows 10 only I can at least give it a try.

The "Core" testers are helping out Motiga find out if they need to change how the objective works, it's really daunting and confusing to new players, but it actually is pretty fun personally. I'd be ok if they change it, but they need to keep the fact there isn't lanes and minions. I hate that shit and love the straight up "Each team has a Nexus and no defenses, go fight for tower building points and kill the enemies."

Gigantic = Bloodline Champions
It's playerbase is going to be a bit on the hardcore side. It really doesn't have any room for casual play, you really have to be able to play your heroes well. Battleborn is sort of like this also, but I feel Gigantic has a higher skill ceiling for personal play.

What annoyed me with overwatch was how fucking slow the game actually is, if you dont play stuff like tracer or lucio your character moves at the speed of a slower heavy. Doesnt help that the low TTK and characters hard countering other characters making the game any more fun.
This one looks super fast and the style is really cool, i know i heard about it and got hyped for it years ago, but it sorta have faded into obscurity.

Yeah same here. I'm kind of mad Overwatch didn't sit well with me, I love the artstyle, I just can't really agree with how absolutely slow it feels. I mostly played Lucio during the beta because of this, but realized I didn't want to spend the money to play it more than last weekend.

I think there is only one summoner, Aisling. She is top tier too. You kind of play like Rexxar from Heroes of the Storm where your summon has all the abilities and you just kind of have an auto attack. The summon is super fast and is insanely good at catching kills, given how fast the game is this is invaluable and why she is considered tier 1. There is confirmed like 12 more heroes coming so who knows what else we get. Only 1 summoner tho with 1 summon.

Margrave and Pakko are as big as they get, they do have bigger hit boxes and can soak up hits for squishies. Tanks are insanely powerful in Gigantic as they are stunlock machines while still being able to kill. Ranged heroes, especially mages, can keep them in check tho strangely. It's very well balanced and has a "If everything is OP it's all balanced" approach without having any really unfun mechanics to damper the overall experience. It's one of the reasons I really love the game is because tanks are a vicious beast, but don't feel cheesy.

I was salty that the only time I could get an invite was when it was win10 only, it's like "oh sure let me just change my OS for nothing but your stupid beta test". MS really screwed them there, but I guess now it's almost all good, they can finally release on platforms people actually use.

I especially like the way you "Level" skills in this game, where you choose in a branching path what you want an ability to do, giving you options and variety in the skills for each champ.
Also, Mozu is the cutest.
