La-mulana is an extremely fun game with a wonderful setting and OST and just puzzles that you're not used to.
The puzzles aren't impossible and they're not that hard, they all have hints, and they're allfunto solve. Even if you don't like the puzzles, the game is still extremely fun to play with a guide alongside.

You're fucking joking. Axiom verge was trash. Bad story (Not that Rabi Ribi isnt just as bad in this aspect), boring as shit boss fights, uninteresting combat, useless abilities and zero hype. The last boss fight was an excellent showcase of how dull the game is.
Meanwhile every Rabi ribi boss is hype as shit, movement and combat feels fantastic.
Every time I see La Mulana mentioned, I wonder why indies can't make proper Metroidvania games.
The only thing SotN has got going for it is the combat and combat as well as boss design is way, way, way better in Valdis Stori
