Healers are passive aggressive because they lack control on how successful the group is while bearing the responsibility. You can be the best healer but if your fps sucks and constantly eat damage and your tank cannot handle agri you are fucked. Dps grow tired of the tank getting healed but if they die everyone dies most of the time. Everyone else can just focus on themselves where as the healer is stuck dealing with everyone else's problems on top of generally being the main target. So resentment builds but the healer still needs the team do they become passive aggressive beta bitches. Some people get off on it and now your stuck with being treated like a heal slut by the rest of the team since some actually like getting treated that way. This is why I almost always end up becoming range dps/ support instead of a healer.

I enjoyed the Healer role when said role was a part of the powerful leader type class. The D&D style Paladin and Cleric, those whom were just as powerful at dealing damage as they were mending it. Healing in such games were comparatively minor, things done after combat had ended. Everyone was more self-sufficient but still had to work together because damage overwhelmed even the best healing.
Over the decades however, the standard had become an adoption of the Japanese style "White Mage" who can effectively keep an entire party's health topped off and rapidly resurrect those who have fallen. Being so focused on powerful healing, the rest of the healer's parameters had to go to shit for "balance". Now to get almost anything done, the healer must depend on others to do all the fighting while they just send them magical words of encouragement.
