Smash means at least another appearance on a brand new system.
Every character that's shown up in smash has had a future game happen, snake got that 3ds thing, cloud will = NX something square enix, and bayonetta might have platinum do a bayo 3 or something new.

Bayo 2 is my favorite game on Wii U, but I've spent 100s of hours playing Wonderful 101, Smash 4, MK8, 3D World, Tropical Freeze, Captain Toad, etc.
