Never. Buy a PSTV or PS3.

You can emulate the Wii version already if you're desperate but it's missing a lot of content.

The DLC by itself is practically a sequel.

Meant for Dragon's Crown.
Just buy a Vita.

Is it as good as CGR Mark made it out to be?

There's also a wii version of it anon. Emulate it i guess.

Worse translation+no DLC makes playing it useless.
>>

>lower texure resolution(emulation cant fix that)
>terrible translation that completely omits anything that might not be child friendly like any Nintendo 3rd party ever

them buy a ps tv, is pretty cheap and most games work on it.
>>

Just buy a PSTV then, you can find them for like, thirty-forty bucks if you keep your eyes peeled.

I've already played this game on wii and vita but if they will release it on PC, I'd play it again.

It's not just a meme when it's true. The Wii version localization was shoddy at best.

But Rebirth already exists.
>>
>>337128950
Even if this is not true, there is no reason to play or even emulate a Wii version now.

The graphics is beautiful as fuck on the Vita, the controls and the DLC contents outrank the Wii version for obvious reasons.

It would look pretty terrible emulated as well, since scaling the resolution would be pure havoc on the sprites. You'd have to play it exactly at the resolution it was on wii, and if you don't have a CRT then thats gg.

The only interesting part in Muramasa is mastering the gameplay mechanics. Once you've completely understood how it works the game becomes boring.

That's why they did a good job with the DLCs, each one having completely different gameplay mechanics. Alterning between the main game and the DLCs is the best way to play the game, Momohime and Ninja boy are played exactly the same way and having to beat 4 times the game to see everything is a real chore.
>>
>>337129110

One reason would be that you don't have to buy a Vita.

The only DLC that matters is Vita only.
>>
>>337125684
It really isn't that great. I own it on Vita and couldn't even be bothered to get the true ending.
>>
>>337131953
Gonbe was also great
>tfw he earned shit money per fight because he's meant to be poor
Once you get his two buddies out he's one of the funner characters to play as because of his unorthodox weapons.
>>
>>337131846
I could not work with Gonbe, he played too weird for my taste.
And Arashimaru was just so much fun.
>shit air game
How what when?
>>
>>337131846
I'm hype as fuck for Odin Sphere. I've been playing Dragons Crown in anticipation. I'm looking forward to seeing what changes they've made. I'm glad they're retooling the mechanics, the frame rate, and the graphics instead of just porting over the inferior version.
>>
>>337131846
I actually double dipped on the PS4 Storybook edition and Vita version.
>>
>>337132325
His firebomb's aerial attack when upgraded went too far away for its own good, limiting the number of times I could zig zag an enemy into the air and all his special attacks no matter the weapon were the same in the air (summon snek, she breathes fire). The only arashimaru weapon I liked was the chain and sickle.
>>
>>337132625
I'm getting it on vita first then PS4, I even went and bought an odin sphere vita pouch from japan.
>>
Are the muramasa dlcs standalone or do they integrate into the game at some point?
>>

God damn it. At least I got good money for it.

>>
>>337132905
What do you mean integrate? Are you asking if you need to clear the normal campaign up to a point to access the dlc? If it's that then no, when you launch the game with the dlc it has you select which start screen you want to go to (base game, or genrokku legends) so it's entirely separate. It does however tie in some ways to the main plots, for example in one of Okoi's endings she triggers the plot of the momohime storyline.

I didn't know it was common for beat em' ups to have a shitty Metroid-ish world when theres absolutely nothing in it aside from copypasted screens or dens where you fight the exact same wave of monsters ten times in a row.

>FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS!

It's kind of funny in a trainwreck sense, but everyone should do themselves a favor and avoid the Wii version. It looks worse than the Vita version, you can't configure the controls (up is jump, while on Vita you can map it to a button), translation blows, and it's missing the DLC, which adds four characters with completely unique playstyles to the game. Honestly, just get a PSTV, it works perfectly on it.

Maybe it's because I burnt myself out playing them all consecutively in release order (and getting both endings), but I didn't really like Rajyaki's gameplay. Her story is still cute though, but Gonbe's was the GOAT story.

I dropped the Wii version for that reason alone. It's funny how most of the time remastered games are just graphically improved, while Vanillaware remastered games have the same graphics but improved mechanics.

Really looking forward to Odin Sphere Remastered, since that game also had some serious gameplay flaws, but it's my overall favourite Vanillaware game.

That was something I was really missing in Kisukes campaign.
Momohimes had just way more interesting stuff in it, like first going to Hell and then to Heaven. Both looked really good, but the way to Raijin was especially beautiful in its execution.
