I played this game and the mechanics are shit. It's a terrible action game. But it's a good dress up stats simulator combat game.

If you're looking for a Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden game, this is not it. If you want Dark Souls, this game is great.

I don't know what you mean with floaty dodging and stiff animations but the impact on weapons is because of Ki or stamina. There are specific stances and attacks that deal more Ki damage, when enemies have no Ki left you can easily stagger them.

Yes, graphics aren't it's strong point but that can be fixed. The gameplay is what they were showcasing and it's more or less rock solid.
