I swear to fucking god. Is there anyone else here who does infinitely better in multiplayer when they are drunk or high? Normally I am fucking hopeless with that shit. But when I am drunk I just fucking destroy almost everyone. I am fucking unstoppable. It is like my virtual spinach.
Why? Where is this hidden potential when I'm sober and why can't I access it?
Pic related, but not limited to. After sucking at this game for days, suddenly I am doing well after a couple of drinks. You name the multiplayer game, I dominate at it. But ONLY when I am drunk or high. Any other time I fucking blow

You're probably just overthinking shit when you're playing normally. You kinda lose the overthinking part when slightly drunk, making you play a bit better.

its probably because when you are sober and playing, all you are thinking about is how being high or drunk would make the experience better.
while when you are drunk or high you feel content and can now focus without your mind being somewhere else.

Being drunk gets rid of your inhibitions. That includes reducing fear and ramping up aggression. Normally that'd land you in a fight you can't win, but for games, there are no real world consequences to being a less cautious and thinking less about your actions.
I'd imagine an easy twitch shooter to be the perfect game for playing drunk. I usually play smash hammered.
I'm better at just about any game when I'm a few shots of whisky down. Hell, I'm better at literally everything when I've had some juice.
I do well in multiplayer shooters with a few beers in me. When i played League of Legends with friends i would carry my teams to victory while being blasted.
