Be careful, watch your surroundings, always have your shield ready. Don't try to look up guides, it's best to experience the game unprepared. Magic is really overpowered. Think before upgrading your weapons, it's pretty convoluted and you can fuck up your upgrade path. There is an item limit for your character, dump your stuff whenever you can. And be careful around NPCs, when you accidentally hit them too often, they will hate you forever.
