Watchers was "a bunch of tough enemies" boss done right. You can get fucked by the boss early on if you try to 2v1, but they give you a wild card to skew things in your favor if you learn to abuse aggro. The second phase is essentially training wheels off which is fantastic

I don't really understand how the Princes took me near 30 tries.
I had the roll timing down after 2, but I still couldn't beat them because I didn't do proper damage to Lothric.
Meanwhile, Champ Gundyr took me 2 tries.
Souls difficulty is some really subjective shit.
