The rumors that have been going on in these threads is that it might be open world. Which makes me kind of nervous.
Though I did play the Toukiden 2 Japanese demo not too long ago and that seemed to do a pretty good job with its open world, so it gives me some hope that Omega Force wont fuck it up if it ends up being true.

Yeah, PW1 was a piece of shit to be honest, lack of characters, more platforming (horrible platforming) than fighting and slow and shit.
PW2 really improved it everywhere and PW3 just had to add more to the already good parts and they did. It is a shame they didn't do the same with the other Warriors game like Gundam and the others.
To be honest it looks like they just try any shitty feature for any Musou game that isn't samurai or dynasty and if it doesn't work it doesn't hurst their own games. From the first to the last one every Gundam Musou is the game and you still feel like hitting paper instead of robots, Kens Rage both games to be honest were shit.
Pirate Warriors saga is the only one that they don't screw up and I guess that's because bamco went to koei and said "what the fuck is this shit" when they made PW1.
I guess Hyrule Warriors counts like a good one too, but to be honest it's just because it is a nintendo game, you could release the same game as a main DW on WiiU and no one would have bought it.

You create a character on the CaC.
The story us told through your eyes as you are living from the beginning on the Three Kingdoms period. You are drafted in the war against the Yellow Turbans and your exploits can be noticed by various people and that us how you join a faction. You can unlock the rest of the Warriors this way and your actions could either keep the Three Kingdoms story as faithful as possible or you can change it in far reaching ways.
