It's totally feasible to hip fire shoot a guy at those ranges. He's seriously less than 50 feet away, and the Lewis gun had a ROF just shy of 600 rounds a minute.
I've made hip fire shots on fucking rabbits that were that far away with a Ruger 10/22.
It's not just feasible, it's actually much easier to do than you think.

Uhhhh, no, the M240 fires 7.62x51 which is actually ballistically superior to the .303 British, which is what the Lewis fires.
The recoil impulse on both bullets is largely identical, and the Lewis being the far heavier gun, makes it actually more controllable on full auto fire.
Basically, everyone whining about OP's webm, including OP himself, are just flat fucking wrong in their complaints.

The rats that infested the trenches and the horrible weather killed soldiers more than the actual enemy.
