varies. Sometimes I do edited together live reactions/highlights of a playthrough, sometimes I do a traditional kinda "review" where I just talk about the game while showing relevant clips. A couple of times I've just done short 1-2 minute clips of stupid jokes that happen around the game.
I also try to keep a LP going at the same time because you gotta have regular updates, and editing this stuff will take me like 15 hours or something. I can't have one done reliably every week, so I try to have an LP for people to consistently see me update.
I had a video with like 990,000 views that got taken down for copyright. Another one with 800,000 views that got taken down for "inappropriate content". Another one with 500,000 views that got taken down for copyright. My most view video that hasn't been removed has 350,000 views. Have 10 other videos that have 10s of thousands of views.

After playing Dokapon Kingdom with my cousin and some friends, he regretted not being able to capture some of the fucking hilarious moments that happened, so he bought a capture car and mic to start making videos. I recorded some shit with him but we ended up deleting half of it because it was awkward as fuck. It's surprisingly hard to start talking while playing and knowing you're being recorded. It takes some getting used to.

Shilling around seems to work. A friend once posted one of my videos on the game's subreddit and it now has almost 3k views. For comparison the other videos (the public ones, most of my videos are unlisted) have 50something views, so it's definitely not a deal of quality - just get yourself known somehow.

No. I'm the dude recording it all. That kid was just running around on the server I was on. I thought he was a funny/cringey little bastard, so I followed him around. Wanted to see what kind of adventures he'd get into.
I didn't realize til later, but I recorded a couple of vids on that server, and that silly ass kid makes an appearance in one of those as well. Sparingly, but still. It was funny for me to realize that all this time later.
