Look at the boxart, Anon, he has a submachine gun on his hip that was only used by the Germans at the very end of the war, but they'll throw it and everything else in because this is a AAA game and they have to appeal to the broadest demographic possible.
WW1 is a niche demographic, and AAA games do not appeal to niche demographics. If you want actual WW1 gameplay, go play Verdun - if you want Battlefield 4 participating in a WW1 reenactment, play Battlefield 1.
