The real matches are usually during Team. Everyone just fucks around and troll the shit out of each others during FFA.
I used to hate Team until I gave it a try, since then, FFA is meaningless to me in term of serious games. Everytime I play against good players I've had trouble with in Team Matches in FFA, they just fuck around, spam attacks to fuck with bad players, select terrible stages and just, overall, don't take it seriously, so yeah, you'Re right. FFa is just to fuck around and experiment in my opinion.
