Winston's shield sucks, so he's not great for mitigating damage.
Dva's absorption field is good for snuffing out enemy ults, but other than that she's supposed to be flanking instead of protecting her team. Plus, she sucks in general.
Roadhog isn't really a tank. He's like reaper but he brings enemies to him instead of the other way around.

Reinhardt has way too much utility, a mobile shield is insanely good for pushing checkpoints or defending control points against decent teams. The only other tank that's useful in that front is Winston. Having a shield is a big deal in this game and three of the tanks don't have a proper one.

Reinhardt is a team player. He loses every 1v1, but with people behind his shield to protect, he's an invaluable asset.
The reasons you see Reinhardt's getting bodied all the time is because either his teammates didn't group up with him, he charged into enemy lines like an idiot, or his/the enemy's team comp didn't really suit him and he was better off on Winston or something.

Well that isn't the only reason for the decline. The reason is that they gutted his kit, making him complete garbage. Discord orb, while amazing, is basically trash if the person you throw it on can LoS you and lose the orb. Zen being squishy obviously doesn't help the matter considering he needs to see the player to throw an orb and being seen mean being killed.

Soldier 76 is overall a million times better because he's so versatile (aoe heal, good mobility, rocket, great at all ranges and ult makes slippery characters like tracer, genji, etc. into jokes while keeping himself just as mobile).
Genji, Tracer and Reaper are the flankers and disruptive heroes. Pharah is fantastic in the right matches and offers some anti shield and stationary faggot utility. She is also very mobile so she can also flank easily.

Also, i always play Mccree, the thing is : His two powerup are ridiculous. The flashbang have to hit someone so he is stunned, but guess what? They're stunned for only 1 SECONDS! The charge time of his shield is laughably short and he allows your team to get the few quick firstkills before your team suffering them since they can shoot through it. His ulti is also extremely strong since it's a guaranteed kill on whoever you hit as long as your team doesn't consist of 5 russians, a long stun absolutely rapes in a game like overwatch
You need to understand Overwatch is a heavily team-based game and calling a hero bad just because he's not a god at EVERYTHING is just silly. Reinhardt is one of the few tanks who you actually legitimately NEED to kill when he's there, Winston achieves kind of the same but to a lesser extent since he jumps behind enemy lines with his thunderdome and is more a distraction than a legitimate tank

It's because of a cheese strategy where you pick 2 or more Winstons when on attack or in king of the hill. Once you have eh point you throw down a shield. As soon as i breaks another winston throws down his. With 2 winstons this is annoying, any more than that and you really can't stop it unless they fuck up or you coordinate really well.

Use your rocket booster or whatever it's called, ram someone with it and then melee to shoot. Not only will it probably startle most shit played, it's also got mad knockback.

Like I said before, bonus points if you put up defense matrix. You're pretty much invincible for the duration of your charge.
And if that's not enough, you'll put them perfectly within range to get every shot with your cannons on them, especially if they're Winston/Roadhog size.
