Swadia is all around the best and easiest faction to play. They have good infantry,amazing cavalry and decent archers, not top tier but whatever. The only real drawback of the faction is the fact that it's in the middle of the shit storm and the king is a retard.

Who really has the best cavalry between Swads, Khergits and Vaegirs?
When I roll with about 30 Swadian Knights, I'm basically unstoppable, but with the others I notice a dramatic drop in kills.
For all the good things, M&B overally is pretty shitty.

I like Native Expansion. There are just two flaws with the mod:
It changes the names of leaders and companions (Harlaus is now "Queen Katilus", Jeremus is now "Aragorn").
You can't garrison soldiers into a castle or town after capturing it, unless you're the marshall. You have to wait until it's assigned to you. Which means it will likely just get taken back instantly by the enemy because it will have 0 defenders.
I like how the mod rebalances soldiers. In vanilla all I needed to do was get 50 Swadian Knights and win the game. Now I actually have to use a mix of different factions' soldiers. I also like how certain top tier soldiers are reserved for nobles and kings. It adds a new little fun element, where I try to find bandits who have captured royal units, and hire them by saving them. Only way to get new units such as "Swadian Paladins" without become a ruler. (Or you can do the "Cheese Thief" quest and capture+hire "Cheese Rustlers")
