A lot of it is finding a good spot to set up. If you find yourself in a skirmish while waiting for a game try to explore the maps some and find good chokepoints.

The only broken character in this game is Lucio. Every other character has checks, counters, or downsides in certain scenarios. Lucio is a perfect support character. He does decent damage, he's fast as fuck, can wall ride, is small and hard to hit, heals literally everyone at once, can boost the heal into overdrive too often, and has an ultimate that is essentially a better version of Zenyatta's.
Even then. He's not terribly broken, just marginally better than the other supports.

On pubs it will def stomp. To beat it you need to split into smaller groups and cover a wider area since Bastion and Turret are the only offensive output and therefore can't cover all angles. Keep pressure and slowly creep inward. Whether it's the Widow snipe, the Roadhog hook, or the Pharah, something's gonna give.
Junkrat also can work really well since he can end up putting out tons of fire without exposing himself.

The hook is still hard to land, and even if you do land it Tracer can E depending on the circumstance. Reinhard is literally funny to play against as you just blink through his shield and rape him from behind and if he turns around just blink again.
