They've said the campaign is completely seamless and has a hub world on a space ship where you launch out in your fighter and go places, the story is linear but you can do optional non story missions. So a lot of time in space and transitioning from space to ground with no loading screens. Most of the campaign seems to be set in space and on extraterrestrial planets.
