D1 was the worst in that regard, because of how slow it is.
But after D2 introduced increasing movement speed, it was managable.
And honestly I love all the games so it's not like it was a chore or anything except for postgame.

I don't get how I'm supposed to level up my stats in Disgaea 5, It only takes 6-10 battles to level Zetta and four monsters up to 9999.
But Zetta for example is kind of frozen at 2.8 million attack and no longer seems to increase with each reincarnation.
I can't fight anything stronger without figuring out what I'm doing wrong here. What do guys? What do?

You have to unlock evilities by mastering subclasses (getting subclasses is crucial). The fastest way to do that is to take on high level enemies in the carnage dimension, yet in order to take them on, you need evilities.
Lots of grinding is required before you can begin to grind.

Both. For every subclass mastered, you receive a large amount of points when your reincarnate (keep your base stats and are able to build on them).
Endgame is basically mastering subclasses then reincarnating enough times to take on twenty star enemies.

In 5, is there any way to improve the odds of getting the item duplication bonus room? I'm on the bonus room route with the increased bonus room chance evility so I can get a bonus room most times, but I've spent like 3 hours just pulling out units, popping a diver door to clear the stage and seeing what I get, and when I eventually got to the dupe room, she just told me this wasn't my day. I really don't want to have to max another trap.

So I know a Disgaea thread probably isn't the most unbiased place to ask, but are the other NIS games worth playing? Phantom Brave, Makai Wars, La Puelle seem to be referenced throughout the series along with any others I'm forgetting and it feels like I'm missing a joke.
