There hasn't even been that large of a jump between the systems in terms of capability, literally parkour is the biggest fundamental change to happen to the series in the last 10 years. Though that is largely because of the CoD fanbase is complacent with the same bullshit every year, and there is even a demand remasters of the same shit yet again.
