Sunlight Sword can't be infused dawg. It does kick ass when used with the Skill buff and/or Blessed Weapon though.

No, infusing weapons doesn't undo the reinforcement level. All infusions but raw lower the base damage but add a secondary damage (fire, magic, dark, lightning), change the stat scaling, or both. Weapons that are reinforced through Twinkling Titanite or Titanite Scales can not be infused.

Blessed Weapon raises the physical damage by a flat 7.5% so that 442 damage becomes 475, it adds a bit of hp regen (2hp/s), and bonus damage against skeletons. You get in the same room as Sunlight Sword too.

I use them quite a bit, and it's a nice way to punish people for attacking too soon and being stuck in an animation for a second or two. It's also great to keep the fight moving. But do people find them a little cheap? They feel a bit cheap but I don't know.

Try out different builds and weapons. Also always use some kind of buff for PvP. It adds quite a bit of damage to your weapon and you'll be at a disadvantage not at least using something. Hell, use a shitter build like the Estoc+Parry shield and wreck people that way. Once you get into it the PvP is tonnes of fun. If you want to play that way you generally start out with caster of some type and then go balls deep into hybriding the fuck out of some weapons while sacrificing health, equip load and stamina. Generally you infuse a really fucking strong weapon and then roll and parry when you fight instead of blocking.

Sharp gets rid of all scaling except for Dex. Your best be is get the minimum amount of strength for the sword, 40 Dex (softcap), and then buff your weapon with great magic weapon spell. The amount of power you'll lose with any refinement isn't worth it.

I was a hybrid for 70 something hours. I wanted a change of pace. I was contemplating a full magic character but I didn't unlock all the magic spells my first go 'round so my choices were pyro or miracle spell caster. My damage isn't bad per say, it's just that I only have the one good spell. If miracles had more offensive spells and buffs like pyro/magic then I'd be happy. go to the tower just outside Firelink. The one you have to buy the key from the handmaiden for 20k souls for. Doesn't matter if you've already been in there and cleared the place out. Go up the elevator and you'll hear the iron gate/door you just came through close. Go back down the elevator. Patches should be there laughing at you. Go back to Firelink and he'll be where he normally is.

It depends on the art
If you put a simple caestus in your offhand (good choice because it's 0.5 weight and god-tier parry frames), then you can do a full power weapon art once every 6 seconds when 1 tick of FP comes back.
For example, the Morne's Great Hammer will do Wrath of the Gods with full hyper armor, BUT, if you do something like a spin attack that constantly drains FP (such as the dancer twinblades) then you'll get "full power" on the first swing but all the subsequent swings from pressing R2 will just be the shitty version.

You can't kill the giants or meet the slugs/ finger covenant. Run and open the door reload the area and he will show up.

Patches will show up in the cathedral if you go past the area with the boss fight fog and up the elevator, then open those giant double doors that lead to the the area with the white tree/arrow rain. The bridge will be up and patches will be farther down that same path (inside the cathedral). If he's not there, exit the game and reload. You can do this AFTER defeating the boss Deacons of the Deep as long as he hasn't shown up at firelink yet.
A few things can prevent him from showing up:
1. You never helped Seigward and talked to him in Undead Settlement, or seigward is dead
2. You already activated the Rosaria Fingers bonefire and activated the shortcut from the other side before opening the double doors
3. He doesn't seem to activate automatically if you have a phantom summoned or an invader, you need to exit the game or rest at a bonefire to make him spawn
it's really finicky. Thankfully they patched it with the last update so he's easier to find. Before, you ALWAYS had to exit/reload your save or rest at a bonefire for him to spawn after opening the doors. This was stupid as fuck because there's no reason to go to the same dead end twice in a row unless you KNOW an NPC will spawn
