Thankfully I broke out of it in 2009-10 after I hit 100k but I ended up playing some real bad shit, games based on kids movies were the worst.

To be honest, besides fighting Azimuth on Hard in Challenge Mode it was fairly easy and fun. Though I really love the series and have played literally every game in it several times, so I might be biased.
Azimuth was a fucking cunt though. Literally had to take the last sixth of his health off (mostly) with the wrench because I didn't have enough ammo with all my guns combined to finish him off.

Just keep in mind that it took until UYA for Insomniac to get a full grasp of some of the new mechanics, like weapon levelling and modding, and the game can be a tad jank at some points as a result.

I honestly don't understand. I never had a 360, so that might have something to do with it. Been mostly PC. I wish I could turn them off on Steam.

Hitman Absolution for example, I thought that game was complete trash but I got a few playthroughs just getting the trophies.

This. Most of the time they're an artificial life lengthener to make a game seem like it's worth your money. If it's all about doing challenging things, sure but almost all of them are just "get 999 boring as fuck collectibles" or "kill x enemies" usually about 100 times more enemies than you'd ever get out of a single playthrough

What trophies have glitched for you guys?
I remember the minigun trophy in RDR never popped for me. I didn't bother playing the game again until Undead Nightmare came out. I made another attempt at the trophy and it popped within killing a few enemies. Fairly sure I met the requirements the first time around.
I was gonna platinum Trillion, but I'm burnt out after 6 endings... kinda got sick of having to restart the entire shit all over each time... got like 4 more endings to go. Don't think I'm gonna platinum it this month... maybe i'll go back to it next month.

If you get enough on xbox, you start to get incentives like discounts and free games.
For me personally, I only achievements hunt for certain games
1. Games in the Halo series.
2. Games I grew up in re-released with achievements (sonic CD, golden axe, etc.)
3. Games where after playing them I realize how close I am to getting all the achievements and just finish them up quickly.
4. Games I really REALLY fucking enjoy

Working on Bloodborne right now. Last trophy last is to finish the chalice dungeons. Defiled chalice is kicking my ass though. I don't play PS games enough to have that many trophies though.

Was working on finishing DS3's trophies but fuck man, the Master of Rings one is brutal. Not only does it require you to do tons of covenant stuff but it also requires at least getting to NG++. Normally I'd be willing to do that, but the Covetous Gold Serpent Ring +2 is something you get from the area unlocked after killing the Nameless King. Beating him on NG was a bit much as is, but NG++? I'd normally summon just to get it over with since I already fought him fairly, but I doubt anyone is setting their sign down for NG++ Nameless King. Besides, I was getting kind of burnt out on the game. Three playthroughs in a row including a NG+ one is making it a chore to play. Most areas I just literally run through because I don't care enough to pick up items. Probably gonna take a break from it or even just give up on the Master of Rings trophy.

Finishing all the social links is something you should do. But listening to Rise's lines for every status effect and party combo? Tedious.
