Maybe. There's plenty of games that flew under /v/'s narrow radar and cruised straight through kickstarter > Greenlight > Steam without ever making a large buzz on this board.
That's why threads like this are normally a bad idea. If a game doesn't have controversy surrounding it, /v/ doesn't give it a whole lot of attention.
If you try to make threads about said games *without* an emphasis on twitter posts or unconventional design choices, the vocal minority will just claim your trying to market it.
