Not really. They have enough to break even for a good while, but they're not actually making profit on anything (at least, not a substantial profit).
At this point the only thing keeping them relevant is their monopoly on the handheld market. Why do you think they're churning out so much physical DLC (amiibos) and moving into the handheld market? Desperation.
They laughed at Sega when the Dreamcast failed, and now they're seeing the same thing happen to them.
